JONATHAN SAMSON has a bilateral profound sensorineural hearing loss which was diagnosed in the early 1970s.
He received auditory training from Louise Crawford at the Hospital for Sick Children in and auditory-verbal therapy from Warren Estabrooks at The Learning to Listen Foundation (LTLF) in Toronto, Canada. Jonathan received a cochlear implant in his late 20s and he returned to The Learning to Listen Foundation for Auditory Skills Training post activation of his cochlear implant.
Jonathan currently works in investments and is an active volunteer in his community.
He has a beautiful wife and two vibrant children, all of whom are cochlear implant users.
