Donya is an established marketing researcher with a background in Food Science. This rare combination is the foundation for her love of learning, passion for leadership, drive for strategic efficiency and necessity for integrity in research.
She enjoys empowering and encouraging the members of SoundIntuition team towards business growth, customer satisfaction and product excellence.
Donya’s clients value her research design, insightful presentations and strategic recommendations influencing their business decisions.
Donya plays an active role in three organizations. As Chair of ASTM E18 Sensory Evaluation, she works with the leaders in the sensory science industry to write, publish and market standards, holding practitioners to best practices. Within this small but tight group, Donya is valued for her leadership, common sense approach and practical application of concepts.
As a Director on the Research Agency Council (RAC) of the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA) of Canada, Donya once again is part of an organization committed to best practices and certification. Donya enjoys this group to network with industry leaders, challenge her business knowledge and have the opportunity to contribute strategically.
When not speaking at conferences, consulting with her clients or encouraging her friends, Donya is a mother to a teen daughter and a tween son. This alone is the full-time job Donya enjoys the most for its many challenges and many more successes.
